Ganesh chaturthi has always been a time for cultural festivities for me. While I took part in singing and dancing, I was always curious about the spirit of those who volunteered in the background.
This year I got the opportunity to join the volunteering team for prasad and food distribution. It answered all my questions. I experienced a unique joy in serving.
It was a humbling and blissful experience that gave me a deeper understanding of the true essence of the festival - devotion through selfless service.
