Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
1. Who we are, and what these terms cover
The Nybr publishes community magazines for Indian residential communities, in print and at thenybr.com. By using this website or submitting content to The Nybr - through our forms, QR codes, email, or any other channel - you agree to these terms. How we handle your personal information is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.
2. Your submissions
When you submit a story, photograph, artwork, or voice note, you confirm that:
- The content is yours, or you have the owner’s permission to submit it
- Everyone identifiable in it has agreed to be included
- For any child who appears or contributes, a parent or guardian has given permission
You keep ownership of everything you share.
3. The licence you give us
By submitting with consent, you grant The Nybr a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to review, lightly edit for clarity and length, publish, reproduce, and distribute your content in the formats you consented to - our print publications, digital editions, and website. This licence does not transfer ownership, and it ends for future use if you withdraw consent (see section 5).
4. Editorial decisions
Editorial decisions on publication, editing, layout, and placement remain at the sole discretion of The Nybr, and submission does not guarantee publication. We decline content that:
- Airs personal grievances or disputes
- Makes claims we cannot verify
- Promotes a business without being marked as advertising
- Shares another person’s private information
- Risks harmony within a community
5. Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw a submission at any time before print, and ask us to remove it from the website at any time. Once an edition has been printed and distributed, content cannot be modified or removed from those physical copies - withdrawal applies from the next edition onward.
6. Advertising
Sponsored content and advertisements are always clearly marked and are chosen to sit appropriately beside resident stories. Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy of their own offers and claims; an advertisement in The Nybr is not an endorsement.
7. Our content
The Nybr name, masthead, logo, and the design of our publications and website belong to The Nybr. Content on thenybr.com is for personal, non-commercial reading. Please do not republish stories, photographs, or voice recordings without permission - they belong to the residents who shared them.
8. Using this website
You agree not to misuse thenybr.com - including attempting to access accounts or systems that are not yours, scraping content at scale, submitting content on behalf of someone without their permission, or interfering with the site’s operation.
9. Liability
We produce The Nybr with reasonable care, but the website and magazine are provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, The Nybr is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or reliance on published content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version will always be on this page. Questions: to@thenybr.com.
